GabeeAI — Privacy Policy

GabeeAI is a local-first meeting co-pilot published by Rave Neal Associates Ltd ("we", "us"), the data controller. Contact: privacy@gabeeai.com.

This policy explains what GabeeAI does with information. The short version: GabeeAI runs on your device. Your audio, transcripts, screen captures, and documents are processed locally and are not sent to us.

1. What GabeeAI processes — and where

• Microphone audio → transcript. Speech is transcribed on your device (local speech-to-text). Audio is processed in memory to produce text and is not uploaded to us.
• Screen / window / camera captures (the "See" feature). Captured only when you trigger it, processed on your device by a local vision model by default.
• Documents you load ("case files"). Read on your device to ground answers. Not uploaded to us.
• Voice enrolment (optional). A local "voiceprint" stored on your device so the app can tell your turns from others'. Not uploaded to us.
• Settings & transcripts/reports. Stored locally on your device (e.g., your `Documents\GabeeAI` folder). You control them.

We (Rave Neal Associates Ltd) do not collect, receive, or store your conversations, transcripts, captures, or documents. GabeeAI contains no analytics or telemetry that transmits this content.

2. Optional features that send data off your device

Some features are off by default and only send data when you choose to use them. When you do, your data goes to that third party under their privacy terms, not ours:

• Cloud AI models (optional). If you select a cloud model (e.g., a hosted provider) instead of a local one, the relevant text is sent to that provider to generate a response.
• Web search (the "Web" button). Sends a search query to a search provider. Clearly labelled as leaving your device.

If you keep GabeeAI on its default local models, none of this applies.

3. If you buy a licence directly from us

If you purchase or register a licence via gabeeai.com, we process limited account/licence data (name, business email, licence key, purchase records) to deliver the product, validate licences, provide updates, and meet legal/accounting obligations. Lawful basis: contract and legitimate interests. We do not receive your meeting content as part of this.

4. You are the controller of your recordings

When you use GabeeAI to record or transcribe a conversation, you decide to do so and you are the controller of that personal data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and for informing/obtaining consent from participants as required in your jurisdiction (see our Acceptable Use Policy).

5. Retention

Content stays on your device until you delete it. We hold licence/account data only as long as needed for the purposes above and legal requirements.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR / GDPR and similar laws you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object or complain to a supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO). For data we hold (licence/account), contact privacy@gabeeai.com. For meeting content, it is on your device and under your control.

7. Security

Content is processed locally, reducing exposure. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to any licence/account data we hold.

8. Children

GabeeAI is a business tool not intended for children under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change. Material changes will be notified via gabeeai.com.
